The XTENT^® Custom NX^® stent's proprietary modular design consists of multiple 6mm cobalt chromium segments that are interdigitated. The stent's interdigitation is designed to enable separation at each 6mm segment, and increase flexibility during delivery and after implantation, while maintaining the radial strength necessary to hold the artery open across multiple segments.
